I uploaded one film that need to be moved from "Open Source Movies" into "Feature Films".

"Raise Your Voice" --------------Starring Hilary Duff, Lauren C. Mayhew, Oliver James, David Keith, Rita Wilson, John Corbett and Kat Dennings

When films are stuck in Open Source Movies, hardly anyone ever sees them.

Is it possible for the administrators to activate the option
on the check-in page that allows the uploaders to choose Feature Films, instead of always having to put the film into the wrong category?
It seems that this would save time for the Administrators and get the movies out to the users faster.
Any thoughts on this?

according to imdb this film was made in 2004, so unless the studio put it into public domain voluntarily (HAHAHAHA) its still under copyright. please learn how the system works before archive gets a fucking cease and desist.

This is exactly the reason the system is in place. The Archive has to review content for copyright issues and remove those in question, such as "Raise Your Voice". Read "Can I upload this movie?" in the movie faq.

I can only imagine how many versions of eg, the "Saw" movies would be in this collection if it were a general-uploader choosable option. Hey, they're feature films after all. ;)

BTW Ronald, I've removed that item for you. Next, feel free to tell any file-sharing friends not to bother uploading such content here. That will save some trouble for everyone. Thanks!

Is "raise your voice" not under copyright?
